GOAL
The main goal of the Millennium Nucleus for the Study of Pain (MiNuSPain) is to study the molecular and cellular bases of pain, with emphasis on the ion channels, receptors, and signaling pathways involved in neuropathic pain.
MISSION
Our mission as MiNuSPain is to increase the knowledge of the pathophysiology of pain, to contribute to the training of advanced human resources in biomedical and clinical sciences and to the dissemination of scientific knowledge.
VISION
We envision MiNuSPain as a national and international reference center for the study of pain, bringing together researchers from biomedical and clinical areas to promote cutting-edge associative studies and the development of novel treatments from a transdisciplinary perspective.
